Website design Pembrokeshire - FAQ & plain English answers
to your questions
about web design, seo & images
I'm often asked very similar questions about the process of designing, developing and publishing an effective business website. . . . including content creation, Search Engine Optimisation and on-going maintenance.
BONUS: Some less obvious benefits of FAQS>>You'll find a 'Frequently Asked Questions' feature in many well designed websites.
Whilst FAQs are, of course, very useful to potential and existing customers alike, there is a less well publicised ulterior motive for their inclusion. A 'Questions & Answers' page offers the opportunity to include numerous internal links, and many more instances of key words or phrases. . . without falling foul of Search Engines' repetitive content algorithms.
Note that I've employed both of these devices in the very first answer below, with the words Website, Wales, Pembrokeshire, web, site, ipinx & media all included, along with an internal link to the WEBSITE GALLERY.

The following are just some of those questions, and their answers of course!
I'm not in Wales, can ipinx still help? Yes! Although ipinx media is based in Pembrokeshire, as you'll notice in the WEBSITE SAMPLE SITES, my web site clients are located throughout the UK, and abroad!
My site doesn't show up in Google, can you SEO it? Whilst the simple answer is yes, as you will read in the SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION page, SEO is largely 'baked in' to a website's structure. As a consequence, if your site was constructed using a website building App such as Wix or Squarespace, it is always more effective (and cheaper! ) to rebuild it from the ground up.
Can I update a website myself? If your site is designed around a CMS (Content Management System ), then it can be made user updatable. . . but please read the cautionary warning in WEBSITES 101!
Who will write the website content? The written copy plays a far greater role than simply informing visitors about your goods or services. . . it is the basis of your site's SEO, as described in; COPYWRITING.
It may also help to browse the website content page in my dedicated copywriting site at CopyFix!
Please note: Over the years I've found that the most effective way of working is for me to research your business and competitors, then write a draft of the website copy which we can add to, or amend.
What happens if you go under a bus? LOL, thank you for that cheerful question! ;o) Every site is fully annotated and, because it is hand written in 'clean' code, any competent web designer would be able to pick up the reins seamlessly.
Who supplies photos and images? As described in the PHOTOGRAPHIC section, I can draw from an extensive library of royalty paid images, at no extra charge. Use of your own photographs, however, will be subject to their quality, resolution and size.
Can you create a logo, a logotype or a motif? Yes, of course! However, because these three elements are subtly different, to find out which you need I've added a breakdown of each in; GRAPHIC DESIGN
How much deposit is needed? For a static website, 50% is payable with your order, the balance becomes due on completion and 'sign-off'. Please read the trading TERMS & CONDITIONS.
Can you use my existing logo? Although it is possible to incorporate your current logo into a website design, screen size and shape constraints may demand a rework of the graphics.
Who creates the T&C and policy statements? Over the years I have developed templates for both trading 'Terms & Conditions' and GDPR compliant 'Privacy & Cookie Policies', (linked here for your reference ) which are easily adapted to work within any business sector.
Can ipinx maintain my Social Media? Of course! For ipinx customers, I can manage your SOCIAL MEDIA at a tiny fraction of the cost charged by Agencies, see the COST GUIDE for monthly prices.
Is that you in the photos? Oh I wish. . . perhaps forty years ago! They are more examples of stock photo's from my royalty paid image library.
. . .still have questions?
